Activities

• Coordinate with subcontractors for sending enquiries, receiving quotations, negotiation and finalization of Service Orders and Subcontracts
• Scrutinizing Subcontractor invoices
• Planning and budgeting of supplier functions
• Progress monitoring of Subcontract Works / Services.
• Plan for regular visits to Subcontractors’ premises for follow up and tracking
• Assess new and existing suppliers to meet  key requirements around product,  cost, quality and capacity.
• Understand and drive key standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949 etc. with the Subcontractors
• Carry out new supplier evaluation audits

Skills

• Experience in planning and executing of Sourcing and Supplier engagement
• Experience in cost estimation for parts
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and explain to Suppliers
